Trump withdraws new sanctions on North Korea

Today, the U.S. President Donald Trump announced that he ordered to withdraw the new sanctions on North Korea.

Donald Trump twitted on his twitter account “It was announced today by the U.S. Treasury that additional large scale Sanctions would be added to those already existing Sanctions on North Korea. I have today ordered the withdrawal of those additional Sanctions!”

After a failed summit that holds between Trump and N Korea’s leader Kim Jong-un in Vietnam, North Korea seems going back to its old kingdom. This week, North Korea abandons Liaison Office which provides a direct communication channel for the two Koreas. The move was considered to be a sign that North Korea may close its door to further talk with the U.S.

China definitely behind North Korea, early this week, the U.S. has decided to put sanctions on two Chinese companies that had helped North Korea to avoid sanctions. These Chinese companies secretly gave goods and news to North Korea in a various way.

Trumps’s act on withdrawal of those additional sanctions on North Korea may have its own consideration. Frankly, those sanctions on North Korea is nothing new and maybe helpless since China always will seek a way to help its little brother.
